i used to think i had you figured out.  your next move i could see coming.  but now everything i thought i knew is uncertain.  i feel like my sanity has ceased and i live in total darkness of whats to come.  the comfortable life i used to live and the certainty of another day has since faded and a new day is not anticipated.  all i know is now.  all i can see is what is right in front of me.  all i can hear is your simple but complex words...Trust Me

So...As I was driving this morning to work, After grabbing my Cinnamon Dolce Leche Latte from Starbucks  I remembered something that made me laugh, so I thought I would share... 

Have you ever been involved in someones life for a period of your life that was rather significant, only to forget there name a couple years later...Well, Obviously I wouldn't;t be writing this if I haven't so here we go. 

After my first years of Masters I stayed in Fort Myers for the summer and was a nanny to a random couple.  I would watch there son who was 17 months and his cousin who was 19 months.  I haven't seen or heard from these people since.  I guess it would have been my second year, maybe...not sure... All my years in MC kind of blend together now.  Anyways I was walking through the mall one day and saw the cousin, with his mom, riding one of the little quarter rides... (well they were quarter rides when I was young, they are probably like 3 dollar rides now, do you know what I am talking about?)  So I really wanted to say hi, because I knew the mother recognized me but I just couldn't remember the boys name...So I went up to them and said, "hey jonathan" (i knew someone named jonathan...once) And the mom said, "hey Kristen" kind of with an annoyed look.  "Michael do you remember Kristen".  I tried it play it off like I didn't hear that I said the wrong name, but it was written all over my face.  Well that was the end of that conversation.  "Have a great day mam, see you later...Michael..."... DANG I said Jonathan and his name is Michael...probably one of the most embarrassing times in my life, how could you forget the name of a kid you babysat for 3 months!

Cheryl and I have more than one thing in common...today I shall write of one.  Recently I read a blog of Cheryl Sue's (is there anyone else who when referring of Cheryl calls her cheryl sue?) that went something like "Does anyone have that one friend who always seems to get you in trouble or who when your around this person they somehow can talk you into anything?"  Well I have "one of those"... Her name is also Becca. 

-While I am on this subject, there is someone last year who was at the other end, anyone could talk him into ANYTHING...and we took of advantage of him.  A few weeks ago, I was talking with Jessica and Zane about a trip we take every year to Kenosha to do a Winter Retreat. And last year Ashlyn Blythe went with us.  Last year there was a lot that happened (Zinc, Morgan on the flight home, Jesse in the pool (BAM)) anyways, last year we took advantage of Ashlyn.  We had just arrived at the hotel where they have the retreat and we were getting our rooms.  In the lobby they have this HUGE fountain and the water ran over the side.  While standing beside it Zane and Jess decided we wanted to see if we could talk Ashlyn into licking the fountain...i know disgusting but funny!  It only took a little bit and Ashlyn went to lick it really fast and banged his face into the fountain...it was sooo funny! HA

No back to Becca...Becca seems to have this ability to manipulate people to do anything.  Not sure how the heck she does it but no matter what the heck it is, I always end up doing it!  Well now the cat is out of the back... and Becca's antics have come out into the open... Beware...she is good!

So i am sitting here straightening my hair at work and all of the sudden this guy falls off his motorcycle...he smacked his head and then slid on the ground...I am definitely nauseous and again SO thankful for God's protection over this past year.  And ambulance came and he was taken to the hospital, he kept passing out and having fits of tremors... Why did 7 of us walk out of that van with little scratches, why did I walk away from that bike accidents, Jesus I don't deserve Your grace and mercy but Man, Jesus thank you for your protection!
